The OLPH Endowment Fund was developed to ensure the future quality and accessibility of Catholic education at OLPH. It is designed to:
- Strengthen the quality of academic and religious programs;
- Develop and grow superior faculty;
- Promote an ongoing examination and improvement of facilities;
- Afford parish families the opportunity to enroll their children in the OLPH School.
Established in 1992, the OLPH School Endowment Board began its work by championing a fundraising campaign to support the future of Catholic education, in general, and OLPH School, in particular. Founding Endowment Board members included: Rev. John E. Flavin, Sr. Carole Cierniak, Mr. Robert L. Hicks, Dr. John F. Sarwark, Mr. Daniel J. O’Donovan, Mr. Robert T. Freas, Mrs. Carol S. Bell, Mr. Gary P. Coughlan, Mrs. Mary Cary Coughlan, Mr. Patrick E. Hogan and Mr. Peter J. McNulty. Through their efforts and the generosity of parishioners, the school’s endowment fund was successfully launched.
Today’s Endowment Board continues to manage and develop the endowment fund, which provides an established source of revenue to the school each year. The board requests gifts through its Flavin Legacy Society and Vision 2010 campaigns.
