Coach Jim O’Gara once again led his OLPH football team to an undefeated record and capped the season with a narrow 32-23 victory over Faith, Hope & Charity Winnetka in the Council II-3A football championship at Loyola Academy over the weekend.

In O’Gara’s nineteenth season with the program, he has earned nine total league championship trophies, including five since 2014. However, more than victories, Coach O’Gara has instilled in his teams, the invaluable character traits, of humility, respect, and effort. As the game clock ticked to zero, the sideline also swelled with former players, and it would be hard not to include loyalty and family as important cornerstones of his program. Congratulations, Warrior football!
